Job summary

Encadria Staffing Solutions LLC is hiring Machine Operator and Production Associate positions at Georgia Pacific's Talladega facility. This hands-on role supports multiple areas of the mill in a utility capacity, with rotating day and night shifts and a 5:00 AM to 5:30 PM (day) / 5:00 PM to 5:30 AM (night) schedule.

Qualifications

• At least one year of manufacturing or heavy equipment experience.
• Ability to work rotating shifts, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
• Able to work in hot, cold, humid, and noisy environments.
• Capable of lifting, walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing, and pulling for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Act in a utility role across the mill to support production.
• Perform housekeeping and cleaning tasks to maintain safe operations.
• Complete lock out and tag out procedures as required.
• Clear wood jams and assist with troubleshooting.
• Stack, flip, and move wood materials.
• Learn and support basic machine operations.
• Follow all plant safety rules and PPE requirements.
