Georgia-Pacific Talladega Lumber is hiring Manufacturing Production Workers to join a fast-paced facility. Starting pay is $20.00 per hour, with potential increases based on skills and contribution to mill performance.

The role involves rotating up to 12-hour shifts, overtime, holidays, and weekend work as needed to support production. Candidates must be flexible with shifts and ready to work in a non-climate-controlled environment.

Qualifications

• Two+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• One year of experience operating heavy equipment and/or forklifts.
• Experience using a computer for record keeping and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all plant safety and environmental guidelines and participate in the safety program.
• Work in various areas to meet production and quality goals.
• Perform housekeeping to keep machinery and plant clean and safe.
• Maintain a clean work environment around machines and debris.
• Collaborate with team to meet production goals while minimizing waste.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
