Machine Operator
1st, 2nd, and 3rd Shifts
Pay $19-22/hr. based on experience and shift

Job Overview
The Machine Operator in Pineville, NC role involves the operation and maintenance of machinery used in the manufacturing of specialty compounds. This position is essential for ensuring product quality and compliance with safety standards while contributing to the creation of high-performance materials that improve daily life. Operators will work in a dynamic setting with opportunities for various shifts, including days, afternoons, and nights.

Pay & Shift:
7am - 3:30pm - $19/hr.
3pm - 11pm - $21/hr.
10:30pm - 7am - $22/hr.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain machinery, including blending and/or extrusion equipment.
• Follow technical formulations, set-up, and control instructions to ensure product quality and run times.
• Maintain quality and safety standards during operations.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and the quality lab during production runs.
• Perform quality control checks to ensure products meet standards.
• Package finished products for shipment.
• Conduct housekeeping between runs and during the setup of new products.
• Measure and weigh items needed for mixing products as required.
• Practice and ensure safe operating procedures and adhere to safety protocols.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent work experience.
• Proven experience as a Machine Operator in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in operating various extrusion and blending machinery.
• Knowledge of setups and change over procedures is a plus.
• Familiarity with machinery controls.
• Forklift experience is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and quality control practices.
• Strong understanding of safety importance.
