Job summary

QPS Employment Group is seeking a Machine Operator for an agricultural facility in Waupun, Wisconsin. This DIRECT HIRE role offers a $23.00 hourly wage and a 12-hour night shift (6:00pm–6:00am) with a 2-2-3 rotation.

The successful candidate will monitor soybean meal milling equipment, perform basic quality tests, and adhere to GMPs and safety procedures while maintaining production records and providing reliable customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years manufacturing or related industrial experience preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and operate soybean meal milling equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
• Troubleshoot production and equipment issues to maintain efficient operations.
• Conduct quality tests on soybean meal products to ensure compliance with product specifications and quality standards.
• Assist with loading and unloading bulk soybean deliveries and finished product shipments.
• Maintain accurate production records and complete required production documentation.
• Follow all GMPs and company operating procedures.
• Maintain sanitation standards and perform routine housekeeping throughout the facility.
• Ensure a safe work environment by following all company safety policies and procedures.
• Communicate effectively with managers, coworkers, and customers regarding production and operational needs.
• Provide professional customer service and maintain a positive company image.
• Assist with general facility maintenance and operational duties as needed.

Requirements for Machine Operator

• 1-2 years of manufacturing, refinery, processing, or related industrial experience preferred
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environmentSelf-motivated with the ability to work independently
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
• Customer-focused mindset with commitment to quality and service
• Agriculture or farm background preferred
• Ability to follow GMPs, safety procedures, and company policies
• Ability to frequently bend, squat, climb, sit, stand, walk, push, pull, and reach above shoulder level
• Ability to perform repetitive hand and finger movements
• Ability to occasionally kneel
• Ability to regularly lift, carry, push, and pull loads up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment and around processing equipment
