Job summary

Monroechamber in Milwaukee, WI is seeking a Machine Operator II for a first shift from 5:00am to 3:30pm, Monday through Thursday. Wage is $26.40 per hour.

You will operate small mechanical press brakes and small mechanical punch presses, perform first piece inspections, read blueprints, and handle routine maintenance and documentation. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, forklift certification, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous related experience is preferred.
• Able to read blueprints, tape measure, micrometer, square and protractor.
• Able to operate hand tools and perform data entry on computer.
• Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
• Able to successfully pass forklift certification.
• Able to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.

• Independently setup and operate all of the following machinery small mechanical press brakes and small mechanical punch presses, deburring machines, straightener, large shear, cold saw, drill table, hand bender, spot facer, Wysong Brake Press, Durma Brake Press.
• Perform first piece inspection to ensure parts meet specifications.
• Read parts lists, blueprints, and drawings.
• Perform all required routine and minor maintenance activities according to company procedures.
• Complete and maintain all required paperwork, records, documents, etc.
