Job summary

QPS Employment Group is seeking a Machine Operator II in Milwaukee, WI. This role operates various presses and equipment and adheres to safety and quality standards. The position offers a 1st shift from 5:00am to 3:30pm, Monday through Thursday, with a wage of $26.40 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to read blueprints and measure with tape measure, micrometer, square and protractor.
• Forklift certification is required.
• Ability to operate hand tools and perform data entry.

• Independently setup and operate machinery including small mechanical press brakes and small mechanical punch presses, deburring machines, straightener, large shear, cold saw, drill table, hand bender, spot facer
• Perform first piece inspection to ensure parts meet specifications
• Read parts lists, blueprints, and drawings
• Perform routine and minor maintenance activities according to company procedures
• Complete and maintain all required paperwork, records, documents

Position Title: Machine Operator II

Wage: $26.40/hour

Shift: 1st

Hours: 5:00am - 3:30pm (Monday - Thursday)

Machine Operator II Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Perform first piece inspection to ensure parts meet specifications
• Read parts lists, blueprints, and drawings
• Perform all required routine and minor maintenance activities according to company procedures
• Complete and maintain all required paperwork, records, documents, etc.

Machine Operator II Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Previous related experience is preferred
• Able to read blueprints, tape measure, micrometer, square, and protractor
• Able to operate hand tools and perform data entry on computer
• Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
• Able to successfully pass forklift certification
• Able to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
