Job summary

Conagra Brands in Denver, CO is seeking a Machine Operator to support our Bread Packaging department. You will operate production machines, monitor equipment and help maintain safe, efficient, and continuous production in a fast paced manufacturing setting.

Reporting to the Production Line Lead, you will follow safety procedures, lift up to 50 pounds, and collaborate with multiple departments to meet daily goals. This full-time position offers overtime opportunities and an hourly wage of $24.00.

Qualifications

• Machine operator experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks.

Shift: 6:45 AM-7:00 PM

Hourly Rate: $24.00 an hour

Reporting to the Production Line Lead, you will support daily operations by monitoring and troubleshooting production equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and continuous production. This position primarily supports our Bread Packaging department, but you may be assigned to other production lines or departments based on business needs.

A Taste Of What You’ll Do

• Operate a variety of production machines and equipment.
• Follow lock out tag out procedures
• Monitor and troubleshoot equipment issues to minimize downtime.
• Supply production lines to maintain continuous product flow.
• Perform product quality checks to ensure our products meet consumer and company standards.
• Collaborate with multiple departments to meet production goals.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with food safety and OSHA requirements.

Ingredients For Success

• Machine Operator experience
• Ability to perform physical work, including lifting boxes up to 50+ pounds, climbing stairs, and frequent use of hands and arms.
• Comfort working in a manufacturing environment with large machinery, moving parts, and noise.
• Commitment to safety — PPE is provided, including ear protection.
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed to meet production demand.

Physical Requirements

• Depending on the role, physical and environmental requirements may vary but can include:
• Being on your feet, walking around the facility, climbing stairs/ladders or kneeling for extended periods of time.
• Performing consistent repetitive tasks.
• Frequently lifting, pushing or carrying materials.
• Also be aware that in a manufacturing environment, the noise levels can be high, and temperatures may vary. More information on the essential tasks and facility will be shared during the hiring process.
