Job summary

Aerotek in Wheeling, IL is hiring a Machine Operator for a permanent, fully onsite role on 2nd/3rd shifts. Starting pay ranges $21.00–$23.00 per hour with benefits and opportunities for overtime.

You'll operate Fin Tube milling machines, load materials, and perform quality inspections while following strict safety and process standards. Training is provided and opportunities for growth are strong in a multi‑shift, high‑volume manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of manufacturing experience.
• Able to stand long shifts.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Basic math skills and ability to work with fractions and decimals.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Spanish-speaking candidates are encouraged to apply.

? What You'll Be Doing

As a Machine Operator, you'll play a critical role in producing high‑quality fin tube products used across major industries.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Setting up and operating Fin Tube milling machines

• Loading and unloading materials

• Conducting quality inspections throughout production

• Identifying material defects and non‑conformances

• Recording quality data, scrap counts, and production information

• Using production tracking systems and machine interfaces

• Troubleshooting machine issues and production challenges

• Operating overhead cranes when required

• Maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work environment

• Collaborating closely with Team Leads and Supervisors

• Ensuring products meet exact customer specifications and tolerances

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $23.00/hr.
