Job summary

The Machine Operator III at Cargill Mason City, IA, operates and monitors complex production machinery to ensure safe and efficient lines. You will set up multiple machines, perform changeovers, and run continuous checks to uphold quality and food-safety standards.

You will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and work in a fast-paced environment with PPE. Overtime, weekends, and holidays may be required; candidates should be able to lift and handle physical tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be eligible to work in the United States.
• Ability to read, write and follow instructions in English for safety and documentation.
• Basic math and computer capability for production and quality checks.

Responsibilities

• Operate production equipment by starting up, running, monitoring, and adjusting machines to maintain quality.
• Set up multiple machines and perform changeovers following procedures.
• Complete production, safety, and quality checks, tracking information.
• Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshoot; escalate issues as needed.
• Work in a fast-paced, production setting with PPE; stand, climb, bend, and twist as required.
• Overtime, weekends, and holidays as requested.
