Job summary

Cargill is seeking a Production Technician I to safely operate basic production and material handling equipment, ensuring products meet quality and safety standards. The role involves following standard work instructions and learning production processes on assigned shifts.

Responsibilities include packaging, weighing, loading/unloading, and maintaining a clean work environment while adhering to safety guidelines. Overtime and rotating shifts may be required; English communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Understand and communicate efficiently in English (verbal/written).

Responsibilities

• Operate basic production, packaging, weighing, and material handling equipment following standard work instructions.
• Load, unload, package, and palletize products to meet production and quality requirements.
• Monitor equipment and production processes, reporting issues or abnormalities to leadership.
• Perform basic cleaning, inspections, and preventive maintenance tasks as instructed.
• Use simple computer systems or paperwork to record production and quality information.
• Follow all safety, food safety, and housekeeping standards to maintain a clean work environment.
• Work flexible schedules including overtime, weekends, holidays, or rotating shifts with advance notice.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
