Job summary

Manpower, Inc. in Wisconsin is seeking a Machine Operator II to join a manufacturing team supporting continuous output in a fast-paced shop.

You will operate and perform basic setups on metal fabricating machines, read blueprints and work orders, and apply a strong safety and quality-first mindset. You will collaborate across shifts, conduct first article inspections, report defects, and contribute to continuous improvement using production data.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED required; craft apprenticeship or equivalent education/experience.
• 2+ years of experience in machine operation or similar role.
• Ability to read blueprints, shop orders and engineering drawings.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Office tools.
• Strong emphasis on safety, quality, and adherence to procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate and set up metal fabricating machines with supervision.
• Read blueprints and determine setup, sequence, and material requirements.
• Perform first article inspections and report defects or anomalies.
• Maintain a clean, safe workspace and follow 5S and JSA procedures.
• Collaborate across shifts to communicate safety, quality, and process issues.
