Job summary

Parker HVAC Filtration Division in Jeffersonville, IN, is seeking a Machine Operator II to support intermediate machine operation, troubleshoot and perform changeovers while ensuring labeling and quality standards.

You will participate in 5S, maintain equipment, and collaborate with supervisors to meet production targets; a HS diploma and 2–3 years manufacturing experience are expected.

Qualifications

• HS Degree or GED.
• 2-3 years of manufacturing experience.
• Basic computer skills.
• Intermediate troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to communicate in English.
• Must be able to pass a tape measure test.

Responsibilities

• Alert Supervisor and maintenance personnel of any problems that may arise.
• Make machine adjustments as necessary to produce products that meet company specifications.
• Order raw materials.
• Make sure all materials are loaded into the machine in a quick, efficient manner so that downtime is limited.
• Count and record rejected products and scrap material.
• Keep work area clean, free from debris and compliant with 5S markings.
• Clean machine and work area at the end of each shift.
• Ensure that all personnel are following plant safety guidelines.
• Complete production reports.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management
