Qualifications

• Required: High school diploma.
• Preferred: High school diploma with approximately six months work experience.
• SPECIAL EQUIPMENT OR OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Required to purchase basic hand tools. This position requires lifting objects weighing up to approximately fifty pounds.

Responsibilities

• Operate, set up and adjust production equipment as required.
• Monitor equipment and report malfunctions to supervision.
• Inspect parts for conformance to specifications.
• Service equipment (grease, lubricant, coolant) as needed.
• Approve inspection reports.
• Meet established production standards.
• Complete paperwork including production, productivity, inspection, downtime and SPC charts.
• Train new employees to the position or area as required.
• Keep area clean and safe, observe safety rules at all times.
