Job summary

Parker Hannifin is seeking a Machine Operator Ill for the Parker HVAC Filtration Division to operate and troubleshoot complex machinery, perform first piece inspections, and document scrap and downtime. You will read production orders, adjust setups, and contribute to preventive maintenance while handling material changes and labeling requirements.

The role requires 3-5 years of manufacturing experience (2+ years on a machine), HS/GED, basic computer skills, and strong English communication.

Responsibilities

• Alert Supervisor and maintenance personnel of problems.
• Make machine adjustments to meet specifications.
• Order raw materials to the line as needed.
• Load materials quickly to minimize downtime.
• Count and record rejects and scrap materials.
• Maintain a clean, 5S-compliant work area.
• Clean machine and work area at shift end.
• Ensure adherence to plant safety guidelines.
• Complete production reports.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Perform First Piece Inspection and other quality duties as needed. Operate power industrial trucks as needed and complete scrap paperwork.

Responsibilities

• Make machine adjustments as necessary to produce products that meet company specifications.
• Order raw materials to the line as needed.
• Make sure all materials are loaded into the machine in a quick, efficient manner so that downtime is limited.
• Count and record rejected products and scrap material.
• Keep work area clean, free from debris and compliant with 5S markings.
• Clean machine and work area at the end of each shift.
• Ensure that all personnel are following plant safety guidelines.
• Complete production reports.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions

• May be required to lift up to approximately 40 pounds
• Must be able to stand at work station for a long period of time
• Must be able to use both hands in a repetitive motion
• Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, fumes and dust particles
• Must be able to travel throughout the facility to obtain information needed to perform job functions

Education And Experience Requirements

• HS Degree or GED
• 3-5 years of manufacturing experience (at least 2 years machine operator experience)
• Basic computer skills
• Advanced troubleshooting skills
• Ability to communicate in English
