Job summary

Amcor in Kentucky is seeking a production operator to safely and efficiently operate one‑step equipment, including Nissei machines, ensuring the output meets customer specifications and quality standards.

You will monitor machines hourly, perform quality checks, troubleshoot problems, report downtime, enter data in SAP, assist packers, move materials with forklifts, and maintain logs while following GMP and safety rules.

Qualifications

• Experience operating packaging equipment and machines (e.g., Nissei).
• Ability to follow GMP and safety rules in a manufacturing environment.
• Capable of performing hourly quality checks and reporting results.

Responsibilities

• Operate Nissei and related machines according to production requirements.
• Perform hourly quality checks on products and adjust as needed.
• Record production data in SAP and maintain logs.
• Move materials using forklift and pallet jack as required.
• Assist packers and ensure packaging quality checks.
• Maintain machine set‑up sheets and logs; follow safety guidelines.
