Job summary

Amcor Rigid Packaging in the United States (KY) is seeking a Production Operator to safely operate one-step equipment, monitor product quality, and support packaging and maintenance tasks. You will perform hourly quality checks, log production data, and communicate issues to supervisors to ensure top-notch output.

Must follow GMP and safety policies, operate forklifts as needed, and collaborate with team members to meet customer specifications and production targets.

Qualifications

• Operate one-step machinery (Nissei and related) per production requirements.
• Perform hourly quality checks and adjust as needed to meet specifications.
• Troubleshoot machine issues and communicate with supervisor/maintenance promptly.
• Understand and follow GMP, safety rules and PPE requirements.

Responsibilities

• Keep assigned machines running and producing quality products, including Nissei equipment.
• Record daily production numbers and enter data into SAP; maintain logs and tickets.
• Provide oversight to packing area and ensure quality checks during packaging.
• Move materials using forklift and pallet jack as required.
• Assist with preventive maintenance activities and shift handovers.
