Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years of manufacturing experience.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds and be forklift-certified.
• Knowledge of FIFO and GMP policies.
• Detail oriented and able to follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Observe safety rules and wear PPE.
• Maintain clean and orderly work area per GMP.
• Set up, change over, adjust, repair and operate machinery on all shifts.
• Ensure equipment is ready for on-time startup.
• Make adjustments to keep products flowing smoothly.
• Perform process control and quality checks.
• Operate date coders and verify dates.
• Follow OSHA and facility safety rules.
• Keep work area safe and orderly.
• Clean equipment using sanitation practices.
• Assist Quality Assurance with product sampling and other duties.
• Troubleshoot processing equipment.
• Complete daily production reports accurately and legibly.
• Train new associates.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
