Eaton is seeking a Machine Operator II on the Paint Line for the 2nd shift in Reno, NV. You will operate paint line presses, monitor quality, and troubleshoot minor equipment issues.

Core hours are 1:30 PM to 10:00 PM, and the role offers an hourly rate of $22.73 plus a $0.50 shift differential. Responsibilities include tagging tubs to shop orders, entering production data into SAP, maintaining a clean and safe workspace, and supporting teammates in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must have basic manufacturing experience.
• Able to read shop drawings and interpret dimensions.
• Proficient with measurement tools such as tape measure and calipers.
• Able to operate and troubleshoot paint line machinery.

The hourly rate for this position is $22.73 + .50 shift differential per hour.CORE HOURS: 1:30PM - 10PMPlease note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.What you’ll do:Understand and proficiently operate assigned machines/pressesTroubleshoot various machinery problemsIdentify and tag tubs according to shop ordersQC and document all parts run on machinesRetrieve and enter data into SAP computer systemInventory components and supplies as needed to ensure efficient and timely productionKeep work areas clean and safeQualifications:Required (Basic) Qualifications:Must be legally authorized to work in the US without company sponsorshipNo relocation package offered. Candidates must reside within 50 miles of the work location to be considered for this position. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitations.Preferred Qualifications:Previous experience in a manufacturing environmentMore than 6 months of experience with forming or bending machinesMore than 6 months of experience reading drawings or blueprintsExperience confirming that parts conform to specs using measuring tools.Skills:Position Criteria:Able to operate machinery and presses safelyAble to read, accurately interpret and produce parts from blueprints and shop drawingsAble to identify different gauges and types of raw materialAble to accurately read tape measure, scales, and calipersAble to work effectively and productively as member of a team with minimal supervisionAdditional Information:Physical Requirements:Able to stand on feet continuously during working shift.Able to lift and bend on a continuous basisAble to regularly lift 35 pounds without assistance.Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment as required by company policy and procedure.Working Conditions:Exposure to cold/heat weather conditions while shipping doors are openFast paced working, while maintaining safety prioritiesAll positions may require participation in video and in-person interviews as part of the hiring process.
