The role focuses on setting up and operating rotary converting equipment for die-cutting, laminating, and web handling, with emphasis on quality, safety, and schedule adherence.

The position requires hands-on experience with machine setups, tooling changes, and registration systems, plus strong attention to detail and a collaborative mindset.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED and 2–3 years of related experience.
• Experience operating rotary converting equipment for die-cutting/laminating.
• Ability to read blueprints and engineering drawings to spec.
• Experience using precision measuring instruments like micrometers and calipers.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to quality.

Responsibilities

• Set up machines and operate multiple machining centers.
• Perform tool changes, fixture loading, and program loading.
• Configure and troubleshoot registration and tension systems.
• Maintain quality, reduce downtime, and optimize throughput.
• Read blueprints and inspect parts to spec; document quality data.
• Collaborate with QA, engineering, and operations to achieve goals.
