Job summary

Fralock is seeking a CNC Programmer II to create 3-axis Mill CAD/CAM programs and convert files from DXF and PDF formats on MasterCam and NCCam software. The programmer will set up and run CNC equipment to process jobs using ceramic and specialty materials while ensuring quality standards are met.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; or 3–5 years related experience or training.
• Mastercam/CNC programming certificate preferred.
• 5+ years CNC programming experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Create CAD/CAM programs and convert files from DXF/PDF formats.
• Create and organize programs and transfer files.
• Set up machines, operate multiple milling centers and equipment.
• Perform machine setups, tooling selection, fixture loading, and program loading.
• Make machine offsets and tooling changes to maintain quality.
• Troubleshoot machining and production issues to minimize downtime.
• Optimize feeds, speeds, tooling, and setup strategies.
• Read and interpret blueprints, travelers, and drawings; verify conformance.
• Lead first article inspection and ensure parts meet specs.
• Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, and Operations to drive improvements.
• Provide technical training and mentorship to programmers and machinists.
