Job summary

Stryker in Salt Lake City, UT is hiring for a Production/Machine Operator role with a 4-10 shift schedule. You will operate multiple manufacturing equipment and perform both production associate and machine operator duties.

Responsibilities

  • Operate multiple manufacturing equipment with limited supervision.
  • Carry out 40% Production Associate and 60% Machine/Equipment Operator responsibilities.
  • Inspect machined components using precision measuring equipment and maintain accurate records; address maintenance requests.
  • Troubleshoot basic quality concerns and read part prints/blueprints to meet production goals.
  • Train others on recognizing cosmetic defects and report safety concerns, production issues and documentation errors.
  • Ensure quality and adherence to manufacturing process requirements; build products following certified processes.
  • Independently comply with production signals; record information on shop floor paperwork and maintain accuracy.
  • Handle, transport, store, and inspect components and final assembly devices; set up and operate equipment; adjust machinery as needed.
  • Adjust clamp performance, clean water system, prepare materials, monitor production floor for slowdowns, and coordinate to respond to technical challenges.

Schedule: 4-10 = Monday-Thursday 3:00pm-1:30am, OT as needed

What you will do:
  • Operate multiple simple to advanced manufacturing equipment with limited supervision, including machines.
  • Carry out 40% Production Associate responsibilities and 60% Machine and Equipment Operator responsibilities.
  • Inspect machined components using precision measuring equipment, maintain accurate production records, and address maintenance requests.
  • Troubleshoot basic quality concerns with products or equipment and read part prints/blueprints to meet production goals.
  • Train others on recognizing and identifying cosmetic defects, and report safety concerns, production issues, and documentation errors.
  • Be responsible for quality and adherence to manufacturing process requirements, building products by following certified processes.
  • Independently comply with production signals on the manufacturing floor, record information on shop floor paperwork, and maintain accurate records.
  • Handle, transport, store, and inspect components and final assembly devices, set up and operate manufacturing equipment, and adjust machinery within the scope of machine operator curricula.
  • Adjusting clamp performance, cleaning water system, preparing materials for use, monitoring production floor for slowdowns and shutdowns, coordinating within team to respond to technical challenges.
What you need:

$23.00/hr + $2.00 Shift Premium plus bonus potential and benefits.
