You will follow written instructions and drawings, use precision instruments to check tolerances, document work in the paperless timecard system, and work under direct supervision in a safety-focused environment.

Qualifications

  • Basic understanding of manufacturing planning and sketches.
  • Ability to know when to stop and ask for clarification.
  • Understand proper setup and use of tooling associated with machines.
  • Familiarity with machine tools, precision instruments, and good manual dexterity.
  • Required to perform shop mathematics associated with machining operations.
  • High School diploma or equivalent GED required.

Job Summary

We are seeking experienced individuals to join our team as Machine Operators. This role involves setting up, programming, and operating industrial-grade machines to form, cut, bend, size, and machine aerospace-quality components from Nickel, Stainless, and Titanium alloys. The position requires attention to detail and adherence to safety standards.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure proper setup of machines to yield quality parts conforming to customer-designed tolerances.
  • Understand and follow written instructions, sketches, drawings, and documents.
  • Use precision measuring instruments to check tolerances and quality of parts.
  • Perform all work in accordance with established standards and safety procedures.
  • Ensure proper documentation is entered into the manufacturing planning and paperless timecard system.
  • Work under direct oversight.

Working Conditions

Demonstrate proper and safe operation of equipment and use personal protective equipment including safety glasses/full face shield, hearing protection, heat reflective body garments, and gloves as required.

Physical Requirements

The role involves physical activities that require considerable use of arms and legs and frequent movement of the whole body, such as climbing, lifting up to 50 pounds, balancing, and handling material.

Shift Details
  • 1st Shift: 3:30am – 2:00pm or 4:30am - 2:00pm (Monday-Thursday)
  • 2nd Shift: 2:30pm - 1:00am (Monday-Thursday)
  • Weekend Shift: 5:00am – 5:30pm (Friday-Sunday)
