Adecco US, Inc. is seeking a Machine Operator II for a client in Gurnee, IL. The role operates across multiple work centers, including injection molding and assembly lines, on a 12-hour schedule (6:45pm–7:00am) with on-site training and potential temp-to-hire.
Responsibilities include monitoring processes, packing parts, inspecting quality, lifting up to 25 pounds, and following GMP/OSHA safety rules. Requires HS diploma and 2–3 years in manufacturing; SAP/Outlook proficiency required.
Machine Operator II
Gurnee, IL
12 Hours (6:45pm – 7am)
Temp-to-Hire
Payrate: $19.68-$33.00/hour, depending on experience.
(Essential responsibilities include but are not limited to the following):
Advanced operator that can be assigned to any work center in the facility and successfully operate the equipment.
Perform the duties of the Operator positions which include but not limited to:
Visually monitor the molding process to ensure proper procedure, pack parts from injection molding and assembly machines and inspect general product quality and packaging to ensure they meet specifications.
Lift and carry totes, and pack in accordance with either weight or count.
Ability to change and stock materials at the machine (bags, daily supplies, etc.).
Employee will work in concert with the Operator III ensuring safe and efficient production.
Employee will read, comprehend, and maintain the operating policies and procedures of the Company as well as the requirements specified by FDA, OSHA, and other governmental agencies.
Employee will read and comprehend instructions and written procedures.
Supports all company safety and quality programs and initiatives.
Other responsibilities may be assigned from time to time as needed, based on the evolution of the company and the requirements of the department/position.
The minimum education and experience required to perform this job competently.
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a manufacturing role in a similar industry/environment.
Must have familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices as well as all current Work Instructions and Product Specifications.
Ability to lift equal to or under 25 pounds.
Must be able to walk/stand for long periods of time.
Ability to read and write English and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Experience in the use of scale, tape gun and pallet jack.
Must be proficient with the use of computer including SAP and Microsoft Outlook.

Safety glasses and steel toed shoes required on the manufacturing floor, receiving inspection, receiving, stockroom and shipping areas.
$19.86 to $25.00 per hour
