Job summary

Workrite Ergonomics in Petaluma, CA is seeking a machine operator for our Woodshop to operate and maintain woodworking machinery for precise fabrication of products. First shift, competitive pay, and benefits are offered.

You will set up equipment, follow drawings and cut sheets, inspect parts, assemble and package products, and maintain a safe, clean workspace in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Entry Level position.
• Basic reading, writing and math skills required.
• Ability to learn ERP system and perform transactions.

Responsibilities

• Safe and correct setup and use of equipment including T-molder, drill press, Kerf cutter, pin router, table saw and precision measuring tools.
• Maintain quality standards per QA.
• Interpret drawings, cut sheets, and job orders.
• Assemble and package products.
• Inspect parts and machinery for errors.
• Use PPE as required and maintain a clean, safe workspace.
• Adhere to safety regulations.

What Will You Be Doing:

• Safe and correct set up and use of all equipment and processes including but not limited to: T molder, drill press, Kerf cutter, pin router, table saw and precision measuring tools
• Maintain standards set by quality assurance
• Understand and utilize detailed drawings, cut sheets, work instructions and job orders
• Assemble and package products
• Inspect parts and machinery for errors
• Use of all provided PPE (Personal protective equipment) as required for example, hearing protection, safety glasses and safety toe shoes
• Maintain a safe and clean work area
• Adhere to all safety regulations
