Job summary

Mativ Holdings, Inc. in Alpharetta, Georgia, is seeking a Machine Operator I to support production teams. You will set up machines, perform changeovers, audit materials, enter data in the ERP system, and assist with process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Reads and interprets production paperwork (e.g. Sales Orders, Production Notes Customer Specifications, and Set-Up Sheets).
• Sets up assigned machine for production using previously determined guidelines and specifications.
• Sets up, maintains and performs changeovers on extrusion line by following customer specifications.
• Audits material consumption and loading.
• Enters all production data into the ERP system.
• Inspects and prepares customer samples as required following product specifications.
• Conducts tooling changes or machine adjustments.
• Recommends improvements to production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.
• Suggests changes in working conditions and equipment used to increase efficiency.
• Attends shift and safety meetings when required.
• Assists all operators and coworkers to meet KPIs.
• Acquires skills to operate lines in one production segment.
• Performs duties of Utility and Machine Operator.

Education
