Job summary

Mativ Holdings, Inc. seeks a skilled extrusion line operator to efficiently operate, set up, and troubleshoot our extrusion line. The role involves reading schedules, BOMs, and SOC, installing tooling, running the line, and ensuring a compliant, in-spec product. Overtime availability is required.

The position includes testing products, data entry, and adhering to food safety regulations. The role offers a base hourly wage and a shift differential for hours 4pm-8am.

Qualifications

• Proficient in the use of calipers, micrometers, and rulers.
• Read & understand the Metric & English (US Customary) measuring system.
• Able to read ruler measurements to nearest ¼" and convert measurements between systems.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Basic computer and math skills.
• Read and comprehend English.

Responsibilities

• Set up extrusion line according to schedule and BOM/SOC.
• Install tooling and insure correct resin.
• Start up extrusion machine and adjust parameters.
• Test and verify product in spec; package per instructions.
• Troubleshoot the process and perform QC tests per SOC.
• Enter data in data collection and store finished product per stock.
• Adhere to Food Safety Regulations as applicable.
