Job summary

Mativ is seeking a Manufacturing Machine Operator for its Filtration Advanced Materials Business in Athens, Georgia. The operator will be responsible for the setup and operation of machine lines, ensuring that production processes meet specifications.

This role involves a night shift from 7:45 pm to 8:00 am, with initial training during the day. The operator must be forklift qualified, have a mechanical background, and be capable of handling physical demands in a manufacturing environment, including lifting heavy weights and using safety equipment.

Qualifications

• Forklift qualified and able to understand the Data Collection System.
• Mechanical background with proficiency in measurement tools.
• Basic computer and mathematical skills are necessary.

Responsibilities

• Set up machine lines ensuring correct tooling and resin are used.
• Start up machine and monitor production, making adjustments as needed.
• Maintain safety protocols and housekeeping within the work area.

Skills
