Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands, Inc. is seeking a Machine Operator in Florence, AL to set up and operate heavy machinery for cutting, punching, forming, and packaging parts. You will read blueprints, measure parts, and ensure quality while maintaining a safe work environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with lean manufacturing is a plus.
• Good computer and communication skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety rules and participate in a safety culture.
• Operate and set up machinery to cut, punch, form, paint, or package parts.
• Operate computerized equipment and machine controls.
• Use measurement devices like tape measures, calipers, and micrometers.
• Operate material handling equipment (overhead crane, forklift).
• Perform routine preventive maintenance and lubrication on equipment.
