Job summary

Dawn Foods in Michigan is hiring a Machine Operator I for a Monday–Friday, 6:00 am–6:00 pm on-site role. You will work with raw materials, mix formulas, and package finished goods, ensuring quality and safety per GMP, HACCP, and related standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Food manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all product meets specifications, food safety and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain GMP, AIB, IFS and HACCP compliance.
• Operate computer system as required in production processes.
• Operate auxiliary equipment as needed for each function.
• Record materials used with hand-held bar code scanner and complete required paperwork.
• Train new team members and communicate quality or safety issues to lead or supervisor.
