Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1-2 years of production machine operator experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load and follow setup instructions for cutting machines and tools.
• Fabricate wood crates for products per engineering docs and standards.
• Use hand, electric, and pneumatic tools.
• Set-up and lay out work using fixtures and guides.
• Arrange parts for fabrication and staging processes.
• Maintain performance standards for assembly, production, quality, safety and housekeeping.
• Review finished assemblies against drawings.
• Report fabrication issues and assist resolutions.
• Diagnose process and quality issues and suggest improvements to supervisor.
• Report defective machines, parts and materials as per policy.
• Ensure safe use and maintenance of tools and equipment.
• Participate in cross-functional meetings and cross-training.
