Dover Food Retail in Madison, GA is hiring a Machine Operator I to fabricate products using tools and machines, and to complete assembly and parts fabrication to specifications. You will operate equipment, follow engineering documents and production standards, and maintain safe working practices.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 1–2 years of related experience, basic math and reading skills, and the ability to read a tape measure.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 1–2 years of production machine operator experience.
• Ability to read a tape measure and understand fractions/decimals.

Mansioni

• Fabricate assemblies/parts for products and changes per engineering documents and production standards.
• Set-up and lay out work using fixtures and guides to fabricate parts and assemblies.
• Arrange parts for fabrication and staging processes.
• Review finished assemblies and parts for accuracy against drawings and BOMs.
• Report fabrication issues and assist in resolutions as required.
• Diagnose process and quality issues and make improvement recommendations to supervisor.
• Reject defective parts and materials per policy.
• Ensure safe, careful use and maintenance of tools and equipment.
• Participate in cross-functional meetings and cross training.
