Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years of production machine operator experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to read a tape measure and understand fractions/decimals.
• Self-directed with mechanical aptitude.
• Basic reading, writing and PC skills.
• Understanding of 6S.
• Good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Load recipes and follow centerline furnace setups.
• Fabricate assemblies/parts per engineering drawings and BOMs.
• Set up and lay out work with fixtures to fabricate parts.
• Arrange parts for fabrication and staging.
• Review finished assemblies against drawings and BOMs.
• Report fabrication issues and assist in resolutions.
• Diagnose process/quality issues and suggest improvements.
• Reject defective parts per policy.
• Ensure safe use and maintenance of tools/equipment.
• Participate in cross-functional meetings.
• Participate in cross-training program.
