Job summary

Dover Food Retail (DFR) is seeking a Machine Operator I - Assembly in Madison, GA. The role will load and follow setup instructions for cutting machines, fabricate components, and perform basic maintenance.

You will work with hand and power tools, read engineering documents, and ensure quality and safety in a fast-paced environment. You will participate in cross-training and collaborate with a team to meet production schedules, while adhering to 6S and housekeeping standards.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED.
• 1-2 years of production machine operator experience is preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints/engineering docs basic.

Responsibilities

• Load and follow setup instructions for cutting machines and tools.
• Fabricate wood crates for products and changes per engineering documents.
• Set up and lay out work using fixtures and guides to fabricate parts.
• Maintain performance standards for assembly, production, safety, and housekeeping.
• Review finished assemblies for accuracy against drawings and report issues.
