Job summary

Canam Steel Corporation in Buckeye, AZ is seeking a Machine Operator I to support Joist Operations. This role is nonexempt and involves operating basic machinery, monitoring quality, and maintaining safety and efficiency on the production floor.

As a Machine Operator I, you will work with overhead cranes and various machines, perform routine maintenance, and sustain a clean, safe workspace while meeting production targets and shift requirements.

Qualifications

Production Supervisor

The Machine Operator I is responsible for operating basic machinery in a manufacturing environment to ensure smooth and efficient production processes.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Operate machinery according to standard operating procedures.
• Monitor production output and quality to meet specifications.
• Operate overhead cranes for efficient material handling.
• Operate a variety of machines (Stud machine, Bridging Stacker, Stacker and Painters).
• Perform routine maintenance on machines and equipment as required.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Adhere to safety protocols.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Regular, reliable, punctual and consistent attendance. Must be able to work regular and/or flexible hours or shifts, overtime, weekends as required.

Anticipated Pay Range

$20 / Hour +$2 shift differential, overtime and weekly production bonuses

REQUIREMENTS
