Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope is seeking a Machine Operator in Insulbar. The role focuses on assisting operation, setting up parts, and ensuring smooth material flow to meet quality standards for subsequent processing.

Ideal candidates will follow written and verbal instructions, perform basic computer tasks, and maintain strong multitasking and communication skills while wearing required PPE. Expect 12-hour rotating shifts and possible overtime in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Basic computer literacy is required.
• Strong multitasking and prioritization under time constraints are essential.
• Good communication skills with peers and management are important.
• Willingness to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Flexibility to work 12-hour rotating shifts and potential overtime.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality checks during the Insulbar process and report issues.
• Assist technicians in locating and moving parts.
• Set up strut machines and cut to size/length as scheduled.
• Bundle cut strut neatly and label partial coils.
• Verify parts against die prints to meet assembly requirements.
• Observe material during production for visible defects.
