Job summary

Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope is seeking a Machine Operator for Insulbar in Terrell, Texas. You will help operate equipment, set up parts, and manage material flow to ensure quality and efficiency in our manufacturing line.

The role emphasizes reading and following instructions, basic computer literacy, strong multitasking, and clear communication with peers and management. PPE will be worn as required; opportunities for growth exist within a global leader in building envelopes.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Basic computer literacy.
• Strong multitasking and prioritization skills under time constraints.
• Effective communication skills with peers and management.
• Willingness to wear all required PPE.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality checks during the Insulbar process and report issues.
• Assist Technician/Operator in locating and moving parts.
• Set up strut machines and cut struts per the prioritized schedule, changing size and length as required.
• Maintain cut strut in neat, labeled bundles as well as coil strut in usage area keeping it stocked from the overflow.
• Verify by die prints that all parts match and requirements of the assembly are met.
• Observe material as it runs looking for any visible defects.
