Shift: Rotating shifts (two weeks days, two weeks nights)

Role Summary: The Machine Operator I is responsible for integrating raw materials into the diaper line in a timely and efficient manner, as well as cleaning and maintaining the line during down times.

Responsibilities:

- Communicating with the raw materials lift driver / calling for raw materials when they’re needed

- Verifying item numbers and core tags against the item numbers on the BOM to ensure accuracy of materials

- Scanning LPN’s to the correct location once materials are received on the line

- Loading machine with materials, as well as splicing materials into the machine in an efficient manner

- Monitoring machine usage of raw materials

- Communicating with downstairs operators about issues encountered, as well as clean and maintain the line downstairs during down time

- Performing additional tasks not otherwise covered above

Requirements:

- Friendly disposition and ability to positively interact with others

- Capable of learning and applying new techniques or practices

- People skills and ability to train and develop others

- Ability to diagnose and communicate problems

- Ability to be patient while learning and apply new skills on the production floor
