A leading company in aerospace manufacturing is seeking a Machine Operator, Level 1. This entry-level position involves operating machinery and adhering to quality standards. Candidates will receive training and must demonstrate attention to detail and safety awareness. We are currently seeking a Machine Operator, Level 1 to work from 5:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.. This position involves working in manufacturing to support the production and movement of parts and materials, ensuring adherence to lead times and Aerospace quality standards. Level 1 is considered an entry-level position for Tube Shop employees. Employees will receive training and supervision to understand entry-level tasks.
Operate various machines such as:
Locate and interpret customer and industry specifications within engineering documents. Perform tube manufacturing operations precisely according to specifications and internal instructions. Maintain a clean and safe work environment, operate equipment safely, and be certified in the use of basic metrology tools. Read and understand blueprints, conform to quality procedures, input process data into ERP systems, and track time accurately. Support offline tasks like deburring and sawing, monitor cutting tool performance, and report issues. Future opportunities for 2nd shift (1:30 p.m. to 10 p.m.) are available.
Sitting, standing, pushing, pulling, grasping, reaching, squatting/kneeling, working above shoulders, and occasionally lifting up to 50 lbs.
Combination of office and manufacturing environments. Manufacturing areas may reach noise levels of 89.4 decibels, requiring OSHA-approved ear protection. PPE includes ear protection, masks, respirators, gloves, and safety glasses.
This role has no supervisory responsibilities. Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, with up to 5 years of manufacturing experience preferred. Basic computer skills in Windows, Microsoft Office, and ERP navigation are required.
