Machine Operator I

Primary Objective

• Safely monitor and operate machinery to produce quality products according to documented standards, making adjustments as needed. Perform additional tasks as requested by management.

Major Responsibilities

• Follow all safety standards and departmental requirements.
• Monitor product quality and process adherence to procedures.
• Make necessary adjustments to maintain product quality.
• Record production data, including disruptions and rejects.
• Coordinate and execute tasks according to schedule.
• Change and adjust tooling as required.
• Perform preventive maintenance and housekeeping duties.
• Replenish materials to meet production needs.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of manufacturing experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with automated machinery for at least 1 year.
• Experience adjusting machines to produce quality products for at least 1 year.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Physical Requirements

• Work environment includes noise, dust, fumes, and variable temperatures.
• Long hours and flexible shifts, including holidays.
• Safety equipment required: steel-toed shoes, ear plugs, gloves, safety glasses.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., and perform bending, squatting, climbing ladders and stairs.
