Job summary

REV Group's Smeal brand is seeking a Machine Operator to safely operate production machinery, read detailed drawings, and collaborate with engineering to program, set up, and run equipment. Candidates should have 1–2 years of manufacturing experience and basic measurement skills.

Physical demands include lifting up to 40 lbs, frequent bending, and teamwork. This is a full-time role with day-one benefits and opportunities to advance within REV Group.

Qualifications

  • Preferred 1-2 years of experience operating manufacturing equipment including press brake.
  • Preferred high school diploma or GED
  • Ability to read and use a tape measure for precise measurements
  • Ability to use common hand tools and power tools such as drills, and screw guns
  • Ability to communicate professionally and follow directions
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Successful completion of the drug and background screening

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate production machinery
  • Reading and interpreting detailed drawings and dimension styles
  • Interface with engineering to program machines, set up, and run
  • Load parts in the machine, cycle the machine, and detect malfunctions in the operation of the machine.
  • Stay current with TPM and basic mechanical adjustments on all equipment as needed

What a day in the life of a Machine Operator at REV looks like:
