Job summary

Fives Landis Corp seeks a full-time Manufacturing Engineer Technician in Hagerstown, MD. You will support CNC grinders/lathes/mills, set up and troubleshoot controls, and guide technicians on qualification and data documentation.

Minimum 5 years’ experience and at least an associate degree in engineering or electronics are required. A generous benefits package and a dynamic, innovative team await you.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience troubleshooting or programming CNC grinders, lathes, and mills.
• Associate degree in engineering or electronics or approved equivalent experience.
• Self-starter with an innovative work approach and strong problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up, start up, inspect, and adjust machine systems (mechanical, electrical, electronic, and software control).
• Document data for customers and company during inspection and after.
• Operate and maintain instrumentation; perform vibration analysis and report findings.
• Load software for machine control; perform capability studies and data collection.
• Verify and repair control logic; troubleshoot and adjust electronic controls.
• Direct work of assembly technicians on start-up, set-up, qualification, and documentation.

FIVES LANDIS CORP Fives Landis Corp is actively seeking a Full-Time Manufacturing Engineer Technician (MET) to join its team in Hagerstown, Maryland. It is with you that industry can do it! We are currently seeking a Manufacturing Engineer Technician who has the same desire to prove that industry can do it!

PAY RANGE: $25 - $45 per hour

• Responsible for all mechanical, electrical, electronic, and software control system set-up, start-up, inspection, and adjustments on machine systems.
• Document and compile data required by both customer and company during and after the inspection process.
• Operation and maintenance of instrumentation for the analysis, troubleshooting, and resolution of machines and identified problems; completes machine vibration analysis and report.
• Load and/or download software required to enable machine control systems to perform functions required to complete grinding cycle. Performs machine capability studies; programs and qualify data collection systems to analyze data.
• Verifies, edits and changes control logic; verifies, troubleshoots, repairs and adjusts electronic control systems that control machine operations.
• Directs work of others, mainly assembly floor technicians, on machine start-up, set-up, qualification, and machine hitlist and quality documentation book resolutions.
