Job summary

Georgia-Pacific in Sheboygan, WI is seeking motivated Machine Operators to join our team with a focus on safety and efficiency. Compensation starts at $22.50–$25.00 per hour, with a $3/hour shift differential on 2nd and 3rd shifts.

Shifts run 6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm, and 10pm-6am, with overtime and weekend requirements. You will operate, adjust, and troubleshoot production lines, aiming for quality and waste reduction.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Willingness to operate across all shifts and assist in overtime or weekends.
• Post-high school education in manufacturing/industrial.

Responsibilities

• Operate the line with minimal supervision while meeting productivity, waste, and quality standards.
• Perform minor mechanical repairs and adjustments, and monitor line systems.
• Identify improvements to reduce waste and increase production within quality standards.
• Promote safety, communicate effectively, and document actions in writing.
• Assist in setup, operation, and monitoring of machinery; provide training to teammates.
