Job summary

Richardson International in New Hope, MN is seeking a Machine Operator for the Evening shift to run packaging lines, ensure correct weights and quality, and maintain logs.

The role requires ability to work weekends, holidays, and overtime, respond to alarms, and collaborate with teammates; prior machine operation and food manufacturing experience are preferred.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operate packaging equipment and tote stations according to product specifications, ensuring accurate weights, coding, and product quality.
• Adjust, troubleshoot, clean, inspect, and perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on equipment to support efficient operation.
• Complete and maintain accurate machine logs, downtime records, repair documentation, and work order requests as required.
• Follow all health, safety, and fire prevention procedures and perform other duties as assigned.

Working with Richardson opens the door to a world of possibility. We currently have an opportunity for a MachineOperator - Evenings at our New Hope, MN pasta production facility. We are offering a salary of $26.48 per hour with additional $0.50 per hour for the 2nd Shift (Evenings 3p-11p).

Responsibilities

• Operate packaging equipment and tote stations according to product specifications, ensuring accurate weights, coding, and product quality.
• Adjust, troubleshoot, clean, inspect, and perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on equipment to support efficient operation.
• Complete and maintain accurate machine logs, downtime records, repair documentation, and work order requests as required.
• Follow all health, safety, and fire prevention procedures and perform other duties as assigned.

• Able to respond to alarms and resolve problems in a timely manner

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution
• Experience operating machines
• Experience in a food manufacturing facility

Physical Requirements

• Balance, stand, walk, perform simple grasping, and work in high heat/humidity for 12+ hours per shift
• Lift up to 34 pounds for 12+ hours per shift, and up to 50 pounds for 10+ hours per shift
• Bend, crouch, stoop, push, pull, perform fine manipulation, feel, and work in a dusty environment for 10+ hours per shift
• Kneel, sit, reach above shoulders, and climb/work off ladder for 6+ hours per shift
• Make fine distinctions in sound, distinguish objects and equipment visually, and express or exchange ideas by spoken or written word
