Job summary

Bradycorp is seeking a Machine Operator at our Glendale, WI manufacturing plant to run production equipment, execute standard work, and help maintain quality and efficiency. The role requires following batch instructions, safety protocols, and housekeeping practices during 12-hour day shifts (5:50am–6:00pm).

Responsibilities include equipment setup, material weighing, hazardous materials handling, and contributing to continuous improvement efforts while meeting daily and weekly production goals.

• Operate production equipment and perform setup, cleaning and routine maintenance as assigned.
• Weigh and mix raw materials following batch instructions.
• Adhere to safety policies, PPE requirements and handling of hazardous materials.
• Follow standard work instructions and site policies to ensure quality and compliance.
• Identify and maintain quality standards while meeting daily/weekly production goals.
• Communicate production performance to supervisors and other departments.
• Support Lean/5S/continuous improvement initiatives and participate in project teams as needed.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas and perform duties in other production areas as assigned.

Job description

The Machine Operator will be responsible for operating equipment in the one or more value streams of the Florist operations. This position is responsible for the production of valuable, defect-free products that meet or exceed our customers' expectations. The machine operator will be successful in this position by executing to standard work and adhering to all company policies.

Positions are 12 hour day shift positions (5:50am – 6:00pm). This position is located at our manufacturing plant at 2230 W. Florist Ave in Glendale, WI.

• Weighing and mixing raw materials following batch instructions.
• Work with hazardous materials utilizing engineering controls and PPE.
• Willingness and ability to learn and contribute to Lean/5S/Continuous Improvement methodologies.
• Perform production equipment set up, clean up, safe operation, & operator level maintenance of assigned equipment .
• Identify & maintain quality standards while meeting daily & weekly production goals.
• Understand & follow established standard work documents.
• Perform adjustments to production equipment as necessary.
• Communicate production performance to appropriate leaders & departments.
• Support area goals for continuous improvement by serving on project teams as required.
• Adhere to Brady’s attendance, safety, & other company policies.
• Maintain general housekeeping & clean production areas at end of every shift.
• Provide support within other production areas as needed & other duties as assigned.
