Job summary

Demco, Inc. in DeForest, WI is seeking Manufacturing Machine Operators for 1st shift (6:30 AM – 3:00 PM). You will operate the Itoh Cutter or Size Jacket machines, follow tickets, perform quality checks, and assist with material orders and routine maintenance.

This role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement, with opportunities to cross-train and grow within a supportive manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience operating manufacturing equipment.
• Experience operating a digitized guillotine cutter for Cutter Operator role.
• Mechanical aptitude with troubleshooting ability.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand for most of an 8‑hour shift.
• Willingness to cross-train and work overtime.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate specialized manufacturing equipment (Size Jacket or Itoh Cutter).
• Follow job tickets to cut materials to the correct specifications.
• Perform quality checks to ensure finished products meet expectations.
• Order raw materials as needed.
• Complete routine light maintenance, including blade and oil changes.
• Assist in other manufacturing areas as business needs change.
