Job summary

4over is seeking a Cutter Operator II to setup, adjust, and operate cutting equipment meeting customer specs per company policies. This role supports our manufacturing operations in a climate-controlled plant on first shift.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED and 6 months to 1 year experience with Polar or Saber cutting machines; strong problem-solving, time management, and attention to detail are essential for safe, efficient production.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalency required.
• 6 months–1 year of related experience with Polar or Saber cutting machines in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and operate batching system to ensure completion of assignments.
• Identify priority jobs to be completed.
• Review job tickets and plan work steps to meet customer specifications for custom jobs.
• Collaborate with side cutter operators by communicating, inspecting and identifying order types.
• Troubleshoot machines and notify production management of issues.
• Replace worn cutting blades with hand tools as required.
• Set up job specifications, obtain approval and run product when authorized by supervisor or Plant Manager.
