TreeHouse Foods in Hanover, PA is hiring a Machine Operator - Crew B for our production operations. This full-time role reports to the Packing Room Supervisor and supports day-to-day packing line activities.

You will operate packing room equipment, assist with changeovers, monitor quality, and ensure efficiency and waste control. The team emphasizes safety, reliability, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Operates packing room machines and equipment to meet production standards and efficiency.
• Anticipates changeovers and assigns products to machines based on production sheets.
• Monitors product quality by checking for pleats, leaks, holes, registration and correct code-dates.
• Performs weight checks on packing lines to ensure specifications.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Description:

The Machine Operator role at the Hanover location reports to the Packing Room Supervisor and takes day-to-day direction from the Lead Machine Operator. You’ll add value to this role by performing various functions including, but not limited to:

• Ensures that production standards are met by: operating all packing room machines at specified efficiency (speed). Packing room machines include: Hayssens, box machines, box tapers, stretch wrapper, diverter gates, case labelers and sonic sensors.
• Determines upcoming production needs by studying production sheet to anticipate changeovers and assigned products to machines. Uses this information to have correct film, co-dates, stickers, hot stamps, etc. ready for next order.
• Maintains specifications by observing operations, detecting malfunctions and inspecting product for pleats, leakers, holes, registration, and code-dates to keep within specified bag waste limits.
• Ensures product specifications by completing weight checks on packing lines.
• Other duties as assigned
