Job summary

Kalas MFG INC in Denver – Plant 1 is seeking a Machine Operator for the Buncher on the third shift (11pm–7am). You will operate 6–8 buncher machines, set up the equipment, and ensure production and quality standards are met.

You will perform routine maintenance, splice wires, document production in the MRP system, and keep accurate records. The role may require overtime, weekend hours, and temporary duties at ECPD, with emphasis on safety and environmental policy adherence.

Qualifications

• Operates 6-8 buncher machines; meeting production and quality requirements.
• Sets up Buncher machine and performs setup tasks.
• Maintains machine, performs minor maintenance, cleaning and quality checks.
• Splices wires to ensure continuous production.
• Reports production in the MRP system.
• Maintains records and submits paperwork.
• Operates tow motor to retrieve material.
• May require temporary work at ECPD according to business needs.
• Overtime, including weekend overtime, may be required.
• Meets attendance requirements per associate handbook.
• Performs work safely following Kalas safety procedures.

Description

• Operates 6-8 buncher machines; meeting production and quality requirements.
• Sets up Buncher machine, performs all multiple tasks relating to the operation of a Buncher machine.
• Maintains machine to include minor maintenance, cleaning and quality checks.
• Splices wires to ensure continuous production.
• Perform secondary check of all setup and reports production through the MRP system
• Maintains records and submits paperwork.
• Operate tow motor to retrieve material for machine.
• Aware of Kalas' environmental policy and what it means to them.
• Aware of their significant environmental aspects and knows how to mitigate or eliminate the environmental impacts associated with them.
• Temporary work at ECPD may be required according to business needs.
• Additional overtime, including weekend overtime, may be required.
• Meets attendance requirements as stated in associate handbook.
• Performs work safely in accordance with Kalas safety procedures. Operates equipment safely and reports any unsafe work condition or practice to Production Supervisor.
• Perform related work as assigned.
