Job summary

Synear Foods USA in Los Angeles is seeking a Production Operator to operate and monitor packaging lines, ensuring product quality and adherence to our SOPs and safety standards.

The role requires 2 years of experience in a fast-paced food-manufacturing environment, basic math skills, and clear English communication. You must be able to lift, work 4:30 am–3:00 pm, and work overtime or weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum 2 years in fast-paced food manufacturing with machine operation experience.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English.
• Willingness to work 1st shift and overtime/weekends as required.

Responsibilities

• Be familiar with all processes and procedures for operating machines in assigned areas.
• Conduct product tests at production start or after changes to ensure quality.
• Make minor adjustments to equipment as needed.
• Notify management immediately of equipment malfunctions.
• Fill out production forms to track results.
• Report any machine inaccuracies to production management.
• Wear required PPE and participate in safety trainings.
• Address questions on SOPs, food safety and employee safety with supervisor.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Description

• Be familiar with all the processes and procedures for operating the machines in the assigned areas
• Conduct product test in the beginning of the production or after each changeover to ensure that the product quality meets the company standards
• Be able to conduct minor adjustment of the equipment
• Notify the production management of equipment malfunction or breakdown immediately
• Fill out different production forms to track the production results as required
• Notify the production management for any inaccuracy of the machines
• Equip yourself with all required PPEs when performing the job
• Participate in health and safety training and monthly meetings to avoid violations on food cross contamination and workplace safety
• Address any questions and concerns on SOPs, food safety, and employee safety with supervisor for prompt resolution
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
• Minimum 2 year of experience in a fast paced food manufacturing environment, machine operating experience required
• Ability to work in a diverse team environment
• Ability to do basic mathematical calculation
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English
• Ability to work 1st shift, any consecutive from 4:30 am - 3:00 pm depending on assigned areas
• Must be flexible to work overtime and weekends as needed
• Physical requirement including frequent lifting up to 25 lbs., occasional lifting up to 50 lbs., and infrequent lifting up to 100 lbs; For instances when employee is required to lift more than 50 lbs and 100 lbs they must work in teams of two or use the proper equipment and tools for the job/task at hand. Ability to walk and stand for at least 2 hours or more at one time; exposure to loud noise, dust, chemicals, etc.
