Job summary

Synear Foods USA in Los Angeles is seeking a hands-on QC Inspector for a full-time onsite role with a 2:00pm–10:30pm schedule. You will collect samples, perform CCP checks, and conduct final product inspections to ensure label, weight, and visual compliance.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, at least one year in QA or fast-paced food manufacturing, and strong English communication. Overtime and weekend availability may be required.

Responsibilities

• Collect samples from production lines for various tests.
• Perform inspection and CCP checks on in-process products.
• Final product inspection for completeness, labels, weight, and visuals.
• Inspect incoming materials and identify non-conforming items.
• Assist with document control and QA records review.
• Support pre-operational processes and QA inquiries.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Description

This is a full-time position, fully onsite 5 days a week. Schedule: 2:00pm - 10:30pm.

Responsibilities

• Collect samples from production lines on a regular basis to meet different preset requirements on different tests
• Perform inspection and CCP checkups on in process products
• Perform final inspection of product including but not limited to review for completeness, label check, weight check, and visual inspection of final product
• Inspect various incoming products and raw materials. Identify and control non-conforming materials
• Assist with document control including organize, file and review QA documents
• Assist with pre-operational process
• Address any questions and concerns on food safety and quality assurance with QA management in a timely manner
• Perform other duties as assigned

Pay: $19-$21/ hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required
• Minimum 1 year of experience in QC role or a fast paced food manufacturing environment prefered
• Ability to work in a diverse team environment
• Ability to do basic mathematical calculations
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
• Ability to work flexible schedule depending on operational needs
• Must be flexible to work overtime and weekends as needed
• Physical requirements include frequent lifting up to 25 lbs., occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.; For instances when an employee is required to lift more than 50 lbs they must work in teams of two or use the proper equipment and tools for the job/task at hand. Ability to walk and stand for at least 2 hours or more; exposure to loud noise, dust, chemicals, etc.
